CEGERXWIN, SEXMUS HESEN
(1903-1984 )
Sexmus Hesen Ce-gerxwin was a much beloved Kurdish poet who advocated Kurdish union and radical social reform. His rhymes were particularly rich. He also exhibited an ability to write in both a classical and more modern form. Diwane Cegerxwin (Cegerxwin's Poems) and Sewra Azadi (The Revolt of Liberty) were two of his most famous works.
